The Comfortability of Restaurant Chairs

17:03 | Sat | 12 December 2020

When it comes to choosing chairs for your restaurant, there are a lot of factors to consider. Style, price, color, and most importantly comfort. Not all restaurant chairs are made equal, and the last thing you want is to spend a few weeks with your new chairs and realize they’re not as comfortable as you hoped. Simple economics tells us that the cheaper the chair the less comfortable it is. The shorter the duration of the meal, the more tables a restaurant can turn and therefore turn a profit. To invest in a better chair means you expect people to stay awhile. There will be after-dinner conversations. There will be dessert. There will be good Yelp reviews. Our outstanding selection of commercial restaurant furniture includes many new traditional and modern options like Cane Seat And Back Commercial Wood Chair Brazil, Angtique Look Upholstered Metal Restaurant Chair Vice, Fully Upholstered Contemporary Restaurant Chair Diana, Polycarbonate Armchair with Square Legs Opal Wox PRO-SQ, and Standard Style Single Restaurant Booth With Wood Legs
With all those extras, who needs a table turn? It’s important to remember that comfort is subjective and, as with any seating option, your best bet is to try restaurant chairs out in person. There are, however, a few features that tend to make chairs more comfortable:
Seat Scoop: A scoop or imprint on the chair typically makes a wooden chair much more comfortable to sit on for an extended amount of time.
Curved back chairs: Rather than straight up and down, a back that allows you to recline a bit is a much more comfortable option.
Arms: This is a matter of preference and space, but arms can be a nice addition to a restaurant armchair so that your arms have somewhere to rest.

Upholstered seat: Similarly, this is a matter of preference and there are hardwood restaurant chairs that are very comfortable—but some prefer a layer of cushioning on the seat.
The dining experience outside of our home and our dining experiences inside our home are starting to blend. People are expecting the comfort level of residential in a public restaurant. Ultimately, when you’re thinking about comfort in an upholstered chair, you’re going to be considering chairs that are high-quality and made with thought and attention to detail. A good example of such a chair is the Bistro Restaurant chair.

It is up to you to decide between all restaurant chair options. Do you want wood chairs, metal chairs or simply resin chairs? It is up to you.
It’s a classic bentwood bistro-style fan-back chair with the comfort of a padded cane seat. The legs are sturdy wood on casters that won’t scape the floor when you pull the chair out to sit. These wooden chairs have more of a traditional style which adds a sophisticated touch to your venue. The stylish Bentwood design is instantly recognizable and the padded seat offers incredible comfort. Creating comfortable spaces and comfortable seating for guests is key, especially in high-end restaurants with higher average checks and longer table turnover rates.
